Daniel Glen Ferry, 68 passed away Saturday June 26, 2021 at his home in Fort Wayne IN. He was born July 20, 1952 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Charles and Mary Alice Ferry. Daniel graduated from Carroll High School in 1971. He was an Automotive Painter for Al Gratz for several years. Daniel was an avid fan of Chicago Cubs, Indiana Pacers and Colts; IU basketball. His other hobbies included, sailing, collecting walking sticks, canes, and various antique items at estate sales and flea markets. Daniel enjoyed listening to Jazz and Rock and Roll. His true passion was spending time with his family, camping and participating in various Renaissance Festivals and taking the grandsons to sporting events.
He is survived by his wife Karen Ferry of Fort Wayne, IN; children David (Holly) Ferry of Fort Wayne, IN; Melissa (Sean Rhodes) Christman of Warsaw, IN ; brothers, Mike Ferry of Fort Wayne, IN; Ken (Brenda) Ferry of Evansville. IN; sister Suzanne (Denny) Tucker of Fort Wayne, IN; three grandsons, Jonathan, Ethan, Sebastian. Daniel was preceded in death by an infant daughter Lorie Ferry.
Funeral service will be 4pm Wednesday July7, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation from 2-4 pm at the funeral home.
