Daniel Judson Grant, born in Fort Wayne on May 4, 1927, was the son of Carman R. Grant and Mary El Nora (Bess) Geyer. He graduated from Northside High School and served in the Air Force near the end of WW II. After returning home he spent many years working for Richman Bros. Clothing and General Electric.
For many years Dan was an active member of Fort Wayne Scottish Rite and Plymouth Congregational Church. He loved music and shared his talents with both, singing tenor in his church choir for over 50 years and playing bass drum with Scottish Rite. He had a beautiful tenor voice, and when younger sang solos with other churches and performing groups in the Fort Wayne area.
Dan is survived by three nieces and nephews, Christine Treter of Greendale, WI, Betsy John-Jennings of Lakeside Park, KY, and Eric John of Reston, VA, five great nephews, and one great-great niece.
