Danille Lynne Rutherford

Danille Lynne (Egbert) Rutherford, 55, of Fort Wayne IN passed away on Tuesday July 4, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends at Parkview Regional Hospital. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of David and Judith Egbert whom survives. Danille was a graduate of Emmaus Lutheran School and Elmhurst High School in 1986. She worked at Walmart for 28 years. Danille enjoyed traveling, family cookouts and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her husband Tobias Rutherford, sons Brandon (Jessica) Rutherford, Blake (Sara) Rutherford and Grandchildren, Abigail, Madelyn, Anna, Mariah, Mathew, Austin, Allison and Aleister, siblings, Velecia Roth, Timothy (Sheri) Egbert, Christina (Larry) Adkison, Eric (Christina) Egbert along with many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by sister, Angela Holmes and granddaughter Madison Rutherford.

Danille was such an amazing and beautiful woman that touched many hearts throughout her life. With her warm hugs, heart of gold and her radiant glow she brought a smile to many faces and made sure everyone knew they were loved. She was the life of the party and the rock of the family. She was a very proud Daughter, Wife, Mother, Sister, Nana and Friend. She truly loved her family and friends and would give anything to help out one another. Her one wish before leaving her loved ones, was for the family to come together as we once were and just like that, she brought us together and closer. If your clothes are feeling tight, just know that is a hug from our sweet Danille. Though she is no longer with us on earth, she is still with every one of us in spirit. Be still and know that This Isn't Goodbye, But See You later. Rest easy Mom, and thank you for everything you've given to so many. You will forever be our rock!

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday July 10, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home 1320 E. Dupont Road Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday July 9, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Albion IN. Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast IN.
