I'll miss you Aunt Darla...your were a great woman. I write a poem for you... haven't written in a long time so I hope this is ok.

To Aunt Darla

I wish we had more time
To sit and talk a bit.
But, didn't get the chance.
God was ready for
You to be with him.
You've left behindsome memories.
That we will cherish in our hearts.
They help keep us smiling
When we feel we're falling apart.
Our hearts ache
Since you have gone away.
But, we know
When our time comes
We will see you again
Someday.

Tina and Matt,

Sorry for the loss of your mother. I will always remember the fun we had the Smith reunions at Aunt Eddies. We had a lot of good times over the years. She will be missed.

Sending our sympathy for your loss. Although our lives took different paths we were still connected through shared family and memories. Darla is the family member who actually had the patience to teach her youngest brother how to drive a stick shift. Rest in peace, Darla and give Mom and Dad my love.
Sincerely,
Tom, or as Darla usually called me,
Eddie

Darla, for seven years, was my sister-in-law. From 1979 to 1986. I remember when I don't have a car and she had an old car and she let me buy it from her for $50 I believe I paid 25 in 1 week in 25 another week. Darla made the best macaroni salad you will ever wantto eat. I always begged her to bring it to the family gatherings. This is the first time I've cried in a long time she will be sorely missed. Although I haven't seen her since 1986 I remember her like she was my mother or something. I love Darla very much. I would like to be notified when there's a memorial oh, thank you.
