Darlene L. Adams, 68 of Fort Wayne went to be with God on Monday, June 13, 2016. She was born to the late Roy and Frieda Richerson. She attended Elmhurst H.S. and “Streets of Waynedale”. She was a member of American Legion Post 241 and AMVETS Post 33. She loved nature and animals. Surviving family include her siblings, Jerry (Julie), Juno (Carole), Donna Richerson, Betty Levy; several nieces and nephews; and her three dogs, Hoppie, Cheeka, and Jazzy. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Dan Adams. Graveside service will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian. Visitation will be from 11:00-12:30 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the Allen County Humane Society.
