Dave R. Kinney, 67, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014. He was born on January 7, 1947 in Lewiston, Maine to the late Marvin Kinney and Alice (Bouthot) Collier. He worked at Cunningham Optical for 37 years and Fort Wayne Parks for 5 years. He will be remembered for his love of gardening, cooking, and riding his motorcycle. Surviving family include his wife, Vicky Kinney; daughter, Debbie (Mark) Linker; grandchildren, Nick, Erica, Mark D.; siblings, Sharon (Ed) Brock, Denise (Rick) Berry, Marcia (Mark) Peterson; and his little buddy, Julio. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his daughter, Dawn Kinney-Hotze; step son, Chad Toms; and brother, Marv Kinney. A Celebration of Life service will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Ceruti’s Summit Park, 6601 Innovation Blvd., Fort Wayne with a gathering of friends and family beginning at 12:00 pm. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse. Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services are handling arrangements.
