David F Berry

David F. Berry, 84, passed away Tuesday February 15, 2022 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born October 22, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN., the son of the late Don W. and Gladys Berry. David graduated from Shortridge High School in Indianapolis. He entered the Marine Corp. March of 1955 and proudly served his country for the next 21 years. He retired from the Marine Corp and earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. During his time in service, he served two tours in Vietnam. After retirement, he worked for Knopf Moving Company in Washington, DC. David was an unwavering patriot and an avid movie buff. David was a member of the D.A.V and past member of the American Legion and V.F.W.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary L. Berry, of Fort Wayne, IN; daughters, Sonya (John) Hoover of CA; Ursula Berry and Priscilla Bergman both of Fort Wayne, IN; 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and 2 grand dogs. David was preceded in death by six brothers, sister and a granddaughter.
