David “Dave” Darryl Brock, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2026, at his home. Born May 30, 1957, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Grant W. and M. Virginia (Howard) Brock.
A graduate of South Side High School, he was employed as inside sales - (HVAC) with Johnstone Supply for over 30 years. Dave thoroughly enjoyed his job and took great pride in his work. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed watching golf, football, and basketball, especially IU. He loved taking country drives with his wife and attending parades around town. He adored his grandchildren; spending time with them and attending their wrestling matches. A patriotic man, he displayed gratitude and support for all veterans. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and work colleagues.
He is survived by his wife, Karin Brock of Fort Wayne; daughter, Erin (Jeremy) Heitkamp; son, Darin (Shelia) Faurote; stepchildren, Jarod Oliver, Brooke “#2” (Matt) McMahon, and Kenny Oliver; 12 grandchildren, Kayne, Payton, Eli, Jocelynn, Lynden, Johnathan, Kadyn, Leelan, Keylee, Kara, Everlee, and Kennadi; two great-grandchildren, Leo and Romeo; and siblings, Sandra, Martha, and Richard. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Gilbert and Ron Brock.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., with visitation two hours prior. Pastor Dan Sheafer officiating.
