David Walter Burns, 64, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024. He was born on January 14, 1960 to Robert Sr. and Patricia Burns in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Dave graduated from Wayne High School and held several jobs through the years. He will always be remembered for his kind and generous heart. Dave is survived by his mother, Patricia Burns; sister, Linda (Sid) East; brother, Robert Jr. (Leona) Burns; sister, Debra (Joe) Bayse; sister, Marilyn (Hans) Perdaems; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Burns Sr.; paternal grandparents, Louie and Bessie Burns; maternal grandparents, Leroy and Loretta Smith; brother-in-law, Sid East; sister, Donna Flesher; nephew, Chad Noble; and niece, Kimberly Burns. There will be a brief service at Prairie Grove Cemetery, 6312 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 on November 23, 2024 at noon. A celebration of life will follow the burial at Church of God, 3710 East Tillman Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816.
