David Allen Ellis, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021. He was born on March 30, 1948 in Fort Wayne. David proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired from Key III Candies after 31 years of service as a candy maker. He is survived by his daughter, Toni R. Ponce, of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, James and Breeann; brothers, Dan and Don Rowdabaugh of Poe, Ind., and Brian Stiver of Fort Wayne; sister, Carla Stiver of Houston, Texas. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Crystal A. Ellis; son, Dennis W. Ellis; sister, Laura Hawk; and brother, Michael Stiver. Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Advantage Funeral Home, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
