David Alan Feustel

the son of Frederick P. Feustel and Catharine Hazen Feustel. He is survived by a sister, Adeha (Martha) Feustel of Leicester, NC; a brother, Edward Feustel of Plainfield, NH and his son Aaron; a nephew Elihu Feustel and daughters Sage and Sydney; and a nephew Jabez Feustel. David graduated from North Side High School in 1962 and continued at the University of Michigan. He interrupted his studies for service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After discharge he began a career in Computer Software Engineering working at various firms in the U.S. and Germany. David enjoyed writing letters to the Editorial Pages. He was an amateur radio operator, a gun fancier, and a cat lover. At 65 he suffered an attack that caused his first stroke. He continued in Care for the remainder of his life. David will be cremated and ashes buried in Lindenwood Cemetery in a plot containing his grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, and brother Charles. A memorial service may be held at a later time.
