David Ray Hamric, 61, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Born on August 15, 1964, in Toledo, Ohio, to parents Eugene Harold Hamric and Betty Darlene (Ingram) Hamric, David was beloved by so many. He graduated from Snider High School in 1983. On May 1, 1999, he married his best friend, Mary (Jylland) Hamric.
David always made the best of life. He had a way with his humor that either had you laughing hard or rolling your eyes. Beyond all else, he was always there for you. He treasured his family more than anything and leaves behind unforgettable memories that will be deeply cherished.
David is survived by his wife, Mary Hamric; children, Raymond Lowe and Sandra Sterling; grandchildren, Zoe Clay, Andre Alexander, Trinity Sterling and Alyssa Lowe; sister, Darlene Blanchard; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 1PM at Advantage Funeral Home – Highland Park 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46825, with visitation from 11AM-1PM. He will be laid to rest at Highland Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made out to the family of David.
