David Deloss Kimes, 66, passed away March 15, 2024, at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born March 29, 1957, in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of the late Bernard D. and Frances Miriam Kimes. He graduated from Northrop High School. David was a U.S Army Veteran and a helicopter mechanic with the 101st Airborne.
He is survived by cousins, Eric (Patricia) Williams of Fishers, IN; Vickie (Timothy) Hobbs of Brown Co. IN; , and Mary (Donald) Lawrence of Ohio, Beth (Victor) Warmke of Anderson, IN; and longtime family friend, Trinity Starr Ferguson of Fort Wayne, IN.
David is also preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey in 2006.
Funeral Service will be 11:30 am Friday, March 29, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior.
