David A. Lomont, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was born on October 20, 1939 to the late Norbert and Dolores Lomont. He was living in Fort Wayne and sharing his life with his best friend, Rebecca Foster. He was a devout Catholic. A graduate of New Haven High School, he joined the United States Navy in 1962. He retired from Zollner Pistons after 32 years of service. He was a HUGE baseball fan, especially the N.Y. Yankees. David loved telling stories and making everyone laugh. He will truly be missed but remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He is survived by his siblings, Douglas (Sue) Lomont and Denise Mansfield; brother-in-law, H. Kane Bieri; two nephews; and two nieces. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Diane (Lomont) Bieri; brother, Daniel Lomont; and brother-in-law, Brian Mansfield.
