David Mazakis, age 80, passed away on July 3, 2026. He was born on February 25, 1946, in Haifa, Palestine, to the late Jamil Joseph and Kalma (Baconi) Mazakis. David was a resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was beloved by those who knew him. He was an avid pool player with friends and loved watching boxing. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with the ones he loved.
David is survived by his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Joe Mazakis, Henri Mazakis, Octave Mazakis, Teresa Mazakis Abla, and Winston Mazakis.
A graveside service will be on July 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm, at Highland Park Cemetery, in Fort Wayne.
