David A. Pepper

David A. Pepper, 66, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at his home. He was born in Fort Wayne on March 8, 1947 to the late Al and Mary Potter. He worked for Fort Wayne City Street Lighting Operations for 30 years from which he retired. He was an avid fan of race cars and enjoyed watching the races. He is survived by his wife, Sally Pepper; his sons, Scott (Tracie) Pepper, Todd (Maryn Shirely) Pepper, and David (Yolanda) Pepper; his daughters, Debra (Matt) Halmich, Amanda (Craig) Rasawehr, and Marissa Pepper; his six grandchildren, Hannah, Haylie, Nora, Madison, Milanna, and Bailey; his siblings, John (Sondra) Potter, Mary (Randy) Lopez, and Allen Potter, all of Fort Wayne. He was also preceded in death by his brother Leon Pepper. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Ft. Wayne, IN 46809 with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Wednesday September 11, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.
