Throughout his life, Dave was known for a steady devotion to the work before him and a generous spirit toward those around him. In both everyday moments and life’s larger seasons, he carried himself with quiet diligence, offering help without hesitation and care without condition. His presence reflected a life shaped by perseverance and a sincere regard for others. Dave worked at Dana for 50 years, making his way up from a general laborer to a superintendent.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Lynn (Sibert) Rice; children, Michelle (Anthony) Pranger and Michael (Julie) Rice; grandchildren, Jaden (Luke) and Micalyn (Brian); five brothers; three sisters; and a multitude nieces, nephews, and so many more, whom he loved dearly. Dave is preceded in passing by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Russell and Betty Sibert; and two brothers, Robert and James.
Dave will be remembered with respect and gratitude by all who had the privilege to know him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dave's honor can be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
