DAY JOSEPH WYSONG, 11 year old son of Jennifer and Bill Hicks and Gary Wysong, died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013 at Parkview Hospital. He was born Jan. 29, 2002 in Fort Wayne. He was a sixth grade student at Shawnee Middle School. Surviving are his mother and dad, Jennifer and Bill Hicks; father, Gary Wysong; brother, Damian Wysong of Fort Wayne; grandmother, Joyce Elrod of Anderson, Ind.; aunt, Heather (Mike); great-grandmother, Marilyn Weisbach of Fort Wayne; grandparents, Bill (Pap) and Lenora (Mam) Hicks; four aunts, Janet (Walt) Spychalski, Tammy (John) Pilling, Kim (Vance) Gray, and Amanda (Chris) Hall; and several cousins. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Rev. Abe Prater officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
