Deborah Anne Elizabeth Canale, 63, of Fort Wayne, formerly from Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at her residence. She was born January 8, 1960 in Memphis, Tennessee, daughter to the late James Edward and Eleanor Elizabeth (Limberg) Canale. She had worked as a teacher's assistant at the University of Memphis and enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Eleanor (John) Black, Larry (Melinda) Splane, James (Joanna) Splane, Rickie Hammond, and Kathleen Hammond; and eight grandchildren. A time of visitation for Deborah will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Catholic Cemetery, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805.
