Deborah "Deb" J. Law, 65, of Roanoke, passed away on October 25, 2019. She was born to William and Patricia (O'Brien) Watterson in London, England on January 19, 1954. She co-owned and operated Law's Country Kennel in Roanoke since 1987. For decades, Deb was highly involved in the horse community and was an accomplished rider. She enjoyed socializing with friends and family and would never turn down a card game. But above all else, Deb's greatest joy was her grandchildren.

Deb is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, William "Bill" and Katie Law and Andrew "Andy" and Kirsten Law; grandchildren, Graham, Hudson, Emery, Davis, and Alexa Law; brothers, Brandon and Brad Watterson; beloved aunts, Priscilla Price and Pat O'Brien; and a host of adored cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bryce Watterson, and former husband, Kenneth "Ken" Law.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home (6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804).

We are so sorry to hear of Deb's passing. She always greeted us with a warm smile when we came in and always was so kind and caring with our cat, Aggie. We wouldn't think of leaving our cat anywhere but Law's Country Kennel. Rest in peace gentle soul and may the love of Christ surround your family and give them comfort.

My prayers are with the family. Deb would come into AJ’s after a long days work after working with the dogs for her favorite food and drink. I loved her smile and talking about her children and grandchildren. My favorite thing was her love for jewelry. She could not wait for a deal. I would take my grand dogs to Laws kennel and it was so nice knowing that they were taken care of. Rest In Peace, Deb. You fought a long battle.

I enjoyed Debs sense of humor. She helped me out in time of need, that's the kind of person she was.

Deborah Jane (Debbie) was in my graduating class in 1972 at Upper Heyford England and she will be missed very much. We were on the yearbook committee together and in many classes. Her saying in our yearbook was 'Why take life so seriously, you'll never get out of it alive'. We chatted several times last year and she valiantly tried to go to our high school reunion last year but could not . RIP sweet Debbie and prayers go out to your family!
