Debra Sue Greene, 62, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Stillwater Hospice. She was born July 2, 1960 in Fort Wayne, daughter of Oscar and Katherine (Springer) Greene. She received her associates degree from Indiana University and worked as a bookkeeper for Turnstone since 1980 and an accountant for Gerig's Companies and Stone Street Quarries. She was an avid reader, gifted crafter, and enjoyed traveling with her sister to many crafting events. She loved animals and children and taught Sunday School at St. Marks Lutheran Church for many years. Debbie is survived by her sister, Jeanne Greene of Fort Wayne; brothers, Jim (Sue) Greene of Moorhead, MN and David (Kelly Boroff) Greene of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Chris Greene of Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Gerald Greene. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 16933 Thiele Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers and plants, contributions in Debbie's memory may be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church.
