DELORES E. BROOKS, 75, of Fort Wayne, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at her home. Born Aug. 3, 1939, in Payne, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Christman. She worked in the service industry for several years, and was known for her great storytelling, but mostly enjoyed sitting back, watching her family grow up. Surviving are her sons, Chris, Brian, Glenn, Daniel (Cathy), and Aaron Brooks; daughters, Gloria Chase, Donna (Keith) Evans and Helen (Butch) Walters; brother, Ken (Sharon) Christman; sisters, Marilyn (Charlie) Pullen, Ruth Grep, Lois (George) Helbert, and Carol Degraff; 32 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Wayne Brooks; brother, William Christman; and former husband, Robert Brooks. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at C.M.
