Delores M. Ruby, 87, of Fort Wayne went to be with Jesus, Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne. Delores was both March 29, 1937 in Fort Wayne to Adrian and Hermena (Brown) Schnepp. She married John E. Ruby; he preceded her in death in 2003. Delores enjoyed reading, talking on the phone, watching the Game Show Network and going out to breakfast with friends. She was a loving Mom, Memaw and friend. She is survived by a daughter, Deb (Mike) Foreman; son, David (Kim) Ruby and four grandchildren, Dustin (Julie) Ruby, Alexandra Ruby, Hailey Ruby, and Michaél Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sisters, Betty Lorenz, Vera Schmidt and Dottie Rohrbach. A funeral service celebrating Delores’ life will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, 46804. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. A private burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Stillwater Hospice.
