Dennis G. DenHartog, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born October 25, 1948 in Fort Wayne, the son of Gerrit and Geraldine (Reinders) DenHartog. He worked as head painter for many years at the Concordia Theological Seminary prior to owning and operating Folknotes Dulcimer. Surviving are his wife, Linda K. (Dutt) DenHartog of Fort Wayne; children, Timothy (Lenna) DenHartog of Rison, Arkansas, Samuel (Blanca) DenHartog of Mazatlan, Mexico, and Joan Clark of Fort Wayne; brother, Lauren DenHartog of Fort Wayne, and 12 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joshua DenHartog in 1971. A private memorial service will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Preferred memorials may be made to Audiences Unlimited.
