Devona M Morrical

Devona M. Morrical, 86, of Fort Wayne passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017. She was born on January 2, 1931 in Pierceton, Indiana. She worked as a waitress at Carl’s Tavern and Trion Tavern. She was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 157. Surviving family include her sons, Michael and Steven Young, Geoffrey Morrical; daughters, Maria Schnelker, Marilyn (Jack) Smith, Sandra (Steve) Anderson, Patricia (Dennis) Boyle; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Graves. She was preceded in passing by her father, Arthur Barker; mother, Minnie (Weaver) Kling; husband, Marvin Morrical; siblings, Lester, Robert, and Truman Barker, Orpha Thornburg, Berniece Wood, and Geraldine Jackson. Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to American Alzheimer’s Association.
