Diana LaVerne Edwards

Diana L. Edwards, 93, passed away August 31, 2023, at Kingston at Dupont in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born March 17, 1930, in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of Vernon and Clara Ferrier. Diana attended South Side High School. Diana's greatest love in life was her family. She was a very giving person and loved helping others. She loved volunteering at her church and spent several years working with the residents at the Covington Manor Nursing Home. Diana is survived by her children, Debbie (Steve) Schroff of Dorr, MI; Sandra (Greg) Smith of Zanesville, IN; Susan Twiggs, Karie (Ron) Miller both of Fort Wayne, IN; sisters, Berdina Stevens, Gloria Reidt both of Fort Wayne, IN; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Edwards in 2006 and by her sisters, Juanita Sampson, Helen Niemeyer; and brothers, Jack and Floyd Ferrier. Funeral service will be 12:00 pm Monday September 11, 2023, at Christ's Community Church, 10616 Liberty Mills Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation from 10:00 am until service time. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke, IN, immediately following. Memorials may be made to Christ's Community Church. Arrangements by D.O.
