Diann S. Winans

Diann S. Winans, 53, of Fort Wayne passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, June 11, 2012. She was born on January 26, 1959 in Fort Wayne to Eugene and Shirley (Hubbard) Winans both whom survive. She was a graduate of Elmhurst High School. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed animals, gardening, baking, and decorating for the holidays. Besides her parents, she is survived by a sister, Judi (Kent) Loomis; nephew, Jared Loomis; niece, Monique (Nick) Smith; 4 great nieces and nephews; and aunts, Beverly Carney and MaryLou Hadley. A funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, June 15, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5401 Saint Joe Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior to services. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne. Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, Fort Wayne will be handling arrangements. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Allen County SPCA or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
