Dolores M. Ohnesorge

Dolores M. Ohnesorge, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on July 14, 2021. Born on February 21, 1937, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late William B and Dorothy (nee Johnloz) Caston, and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne.

She is survived by her children, David R (Carolyn) Ohnesorge, of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Dianna M (Jim) Daniels, of Auburn; five grandchildren, one great-grandson; brother, William R Caston, of Concord, California; and sister, Mary Ann (Charles) Kummer, of Roanoke. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard H Ohnesorge; son, Douglas R Ohnesorge; and brother, James R Caston.

Funeral service will be 10:00am, Friday, July 23, 2021, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Aunt Delores came to Texas and spent time with my Dad, Jim Caston, after my Mom passed. It meant so much to him. I'm sorry we did not see more of each other but, I came up to Indiana a few years ago for a visit and brought my oldest Granddaughter, Anna. We both felt like it was coming home.

I remember Dolores as one of my cousins. Dolores's father Bill was one of my favorite people. When he was a fireman at Baer Field my Dad Fritz would take me to the fire station and Bill would let me sit in the fire trucks. My condolences to Delores's entire family.
