Donald was an Army veteran and worked at International Harvester where he retired from in 1995.
He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene (Becker) Cuney; son, Don Jr. (Carol) Cuney; daughter, Teresa Ann (Scott) Ellenberger; grandchildren, Jamie DeTar, Austin Ellenberger, Dalton Ellenberger, Halie (Jared) Daler, Amelia (Matthew) Grubbs; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses, Richard (Mary) Cuney and Bonnie (Donald) VanWey; grandson and spouse, Corbin (Lillyian) Ellenberger.
A visitation will be on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with a Rosary to begin at 6:30 PM, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN, 46815. A funeral mass will be on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10:30 AM with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery.
Preferred memorials may be made out to Shriners Children’s Hospital or Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control.
