Chief Petty Officer Donald William Davis Sr., of Fort Wayne Indiana was born to the late Herman Davis and Dorothy (Hollopeter) Davis on December 6, 1946. He left his earthly home on May 15, 2018, surrounded by his family. He served twenty years in the United States Navy retiring on October 31, 1986 in Waianae Hawaii. Following his retirement Don enjoyed his family, camping and traveling.
He is survived by his wife Yanjie Davis; Children: Juan Ichihara, Theresa (Peter) Borja, Melindrina (Enrique Jr.) Sablan; Grandchildren: Ayla Sablan, Lainie Sablan, Brennon Sablan, Devon Davis, Madison Davis, Alyssa Tomlinson, Penelope Davis; Great Grandchildren: Na’Leio Jackson, Keyoni Jackson, Milani Jackson, Hunter Creamer, Lincoln Creamer and Kaleena Tomlinson and several nieces and nephews. Growing up he shared his love for life with Siblings: Robert (Virginia) Davis, Lucinda (Terry) Smith, Charles (Nina) Davis, Carol (William) Reina, Margaret (Jim) Hart.
He was proceeded in death by his first wife Victoria Davis and his son Donald William Davis Jr.
