Donna K Johnson, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Born on September 30, 1942, in Danville, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Merle E and Grace M (Brake) Ervin. She was a member of Branches of Christ Ministries, and retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools after many years of service as a cafeteria worker.
She is survived by her sons, Howard E. (Amanda) Johnson, and Heath A. (Celia) Johnson, both of Fort Wayne; daughter, Rhonda Kay Tabler of Zanesville, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Judith Wilcox. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Elmer H Johnson, in 2017; daughter Roberta Johnson; son-in-law, Wendell Tabler; and great-granddaughter, Madalyn Grace Solis.
Funeral service is 10:00am, Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Branches of Christ Ministries, 2010 E. Tillman Road, with an hour of calling prior to the service. Rev. Earlene Simpson officiating. Calling will also be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2023 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
