Donna Jean Springer

Donna Jean Springer, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away January 25, 2017 at Renaissance Village. She was born May 25, 1931 to the late John and Alice (Swank) Adams. She worked as a homemaker and after her family had been raised, she worked at MCL Cafeteria for almost 15 years. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Cooking, baking, bowling, and dancing were just a few of her passions. Surviving are her children, Michael (Vicky) Springer of Huntington and Debra Koester of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Kelly (Kevin) Evenson and Todd (Brittney) Springer; great grandchildren, Kedryn, Remy, Harvey, and Keircyn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenny Springer; and four sisters. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 11 AM at Elzey-Patterson- Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation will also be on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 3 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hoverstock Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.
