DORIS L. "CANDY" CAMERON, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at St. Joseph Medical Center. Born Oct. 6, 1928, 6:30 p.m., in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Paul Gressley and Mary Ann (Schwartz). She was a homemaker, former employee of Lincoln National Life Insurance Co., and a dance instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Surviving are her son, Jay Cameron of Fort Wayne; stepson, Danny Cameron of Fort Wayne; grandson, Jared Worthley; special brothers-in-law, William A. Cameron, Murdock Cameron and James A. Gill; and nieces and nephews, Jerry, Jackie, Robert, Marion, and Mary Margaret Gill. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jay B. Cameron; brother, Larry; and sister, Ferrol. Funeral service is 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling from 7 to 8 p.m. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
