Doris E. Miller Lehman

DORIS E. LEHMAN, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital. Born Jan. 4, 1924, in Fort Wayne, she was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She worked for General Electric and also for Peace Lutheran Church as a secretary for 25 years. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Harold N. Lehman of Fort Wayne; son, Douglas Miller (Joni Wood) Lehman of Ellisville, Mo.; daughter, Amy J. (Joe) Mareane of Ithaca, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Matthew Mareane of Albany, N.Y., Mark Mareane of Syracuse, N.Y. and Jon Mareane of Ithaca, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Mary L. Miller; two nephews, Steve (Tracy) Miller of Ossian and Jeff (Karen) Miller of Fishers; and one niece, Laura (Greg) Blevins of Lilburn, Ga. She was preceded in death by parents, Forrest D. Miller, in 1958 and Frieda M. Hullinger Miller, in 1989; two brothers, Forrest D. "Nub" Miller Jr., in 1996 and Robert Miller, in 1990. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at Peace Lutheran Church, 4900 Fairfield Ave., with calling one hour prior.
