Doris Elaine Thomson

Doris Elaine Thomson, age 99, of Fort Wayne, Indiana Passed away at home on Sunday Sept 24, 2023. She was born on March 25, 1924 in Chicago, IL to Charles and Ruth Klimcke. She was preceded in death by her husband Colin Thomson (1977), sister Grace (Harmon) Crabtree (2023, grandson Nicholas Bolger (1988). She is survived by her daughters Kathryn Fisk and Colleen (Kevin Bolger) Thomson Bolger, grandchildren, Jason Blanton, Gabriel (Megumi) Blanton, Stefan Bolger and Elizabeth “Libby” Bolger, great- grandchildren, Gabriella “Gabby” Bolger, Emily Blanton and Lyla Blanton. Following her husband’s death she moved to California and spent many happy years with her sister, family and friends before returning to her family in Fort Wayne, IN. She had a special bond with her niece Sharon (Eddy) Howard. She was a lifetime member of the VFW auxiliary due to her husband’s service in WWII. She was able to travel the world with friends and family. Many other nieces and nephews were dearly loved by her. You are loved. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
