Dorothy E. Kramer Kuehnert

Dorothy Emma Kuehnert, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, February 18, at Hamilton House, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne to the late Henry and Anna (nee. Solomon) Kramer, she was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lake Township, the Allen County Farm Bureau, served as the County Women’s Leader, and the Willing Workers Home Extension Club. She is survived by her children, Donna (William) Koch, Gail (Linda) Kuehnert, Janet (Jeffrey) Crow, and Keith Kuehnert; five grandchildren, Deborah, Michelle, Laine, Justin, and Stephanie;four great-grandchildren, Trevan, Addison, Zoey, and Owen; sister, Louise Hockemeyer; and brother, Arnold Kramer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Kuehnert, and brother, Edward Kramer. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 22, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lake Twp., 7914 W. Cook Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Thursday, February 21, at the church. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne Street, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lake Twp. Building Fund, Birchwood, of A-Day-Away, or Heartland Hospice.
