Dorothy E. Stotlar Savio

DOROTHY E. SAVIO, 83, of New Haven, died on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, 2:15 p.m., at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born July 8, 1930, in Liberty Center, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Addie M. (Fannon) and Ora V. Stotlar. She was a teachers aid at North Side High School for 15+ years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Surviving are her son, Eric (Fiona Stewart) Savio of Grabill; daughter, Angela (Jeff) Heller of New Haven; two sisters, Vera (Walter) Berning of New Haven and Bonnie Tibbets of Shasta Lake, Calif.; three grandchidlren, Alan Heller, Nichole Savio and Melanie Savio; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Savio; and three sisters, Eva F. Stotlar, Virginia Pearson and Betty Brenton. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior. Pastor Matthew J. Leffler Sr. Calling also from 2 to 4 and6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
