DOWANE E. SHOAF, 92, of Columbia City, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2017. Born on Nov. 25, 1924 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Fred and Vera (Perkins) Shoaf; and retired in 1987, from Allen Dairy, after many years of service. He is survived by his daughter, Betty (Dale) Armbruster of Columbia City. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bertha "Jean" Shoaf; and brother, Fred (Opal) Shoaf. Private family services will be held. Burial is in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
