Drue was a graduate of Snider High School and attended Vincennes and IUPUI universities. He worked as an electrician for most of his life. His friends and family nicknamed him "McGyver", for his ability to figure out and fix almost anything; this included his love to volunteer to help out however he could.
He was a quiet man with a sense of humor and loved his family dearly. He loved reading, doing puzzles, biking, and doing volunteer work.
Drue is survived by his mother, Vicki Conrad; sister, Kristie Krone; a niece, 2 nephews, and many close cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Stephan Conrad, and 4 grandparents.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
