Dear Sang Workman (Luong), belated condolences to you and Matt and your siblings on the passing of your mother at the end of 2017. Your family had the best rice !!! Thank you so much, Sang, for the delicious rice you shared with me when I came to your house in grade school !!!!  
I have worked for many lovely Catholics, so it is nice to hear of your mother's positive experiences with Catholicism.

I am a friend of Mary Anne Brown who brought Dung into the Catholic Church.  I have the highest regard for Dung.  She is a noble lady.

Dung attended daily Mass at St. Vincent's and so did I..  For a period of time, I had trouble with my skin.  It was all red and very irritating.  I didn't know Dung personally, but she had seen me at Mass and was very sympathetic.  She gave me a big bottle of  skin lotion which was very soothing and helpful..  After many years, I still have this lotion.  This past summer I went to visit Dung at Canterbury rehabilitation.    She looked beautiful and her nails were done perfectly.  I gave her some holy cards to look at and she held them to her heart. I was very touched by this.  Dung beamed with a radiant smile and was very glad for my visit, although she hardly knew me.  A Mass will be said for her February 1st, 8:00 a.m. at St. Vincent's Catholic Church.
