Dwight E. Siela

Dwight E. Siela, 89, passed away on December 7, 2018. He was born in Wells County, IN on December 18, 1928, the son of the late Leo and Emma Siela. Dwight was a member of Markle Church of Christ and always very active in his church community. He worked at Nipsco for 36 years, and retired as a supervisor. Dwight was a sports fan of many varieties, basketball, baseball, softball and golf. He loved golfing. He was a happy soul, deeply loved his family and did not know a stranger. Surviving are his wife, Martha Siela; Children, Victoria Vandermark, Kris (Jon) Ash, Joe (Erin) Siela, and Jim (Sheri) Siela; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Bev (Claron) Boots and John (Jean) Siela. He was preceded in death by 10 siblings. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 11 AM at Markle Church of Christ, 455 E Morse St, Markle, IN 46770. Visitation will be one hour prior. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 2 to 8 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
