

E. CONSTANCE "CONNIE" (GLASPER) HOSIER, 74, died peacefully Saturday, March 13, 2010, with her family and friends by her side at home. Born Sept. 7, 1935, in Minneapolis, Minn., Connie was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Fort Wayne. She was employed by Fort Wayne Community Schools and subsequently by Moring's Flowers and Gifts. She was a lifetime member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and a graduate of Most Precious Blood Grade School. She dedicated countless hours throughout her life to the school, church and community she loved. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward; her children, John (Ada) of Indianapolis, Pat (Jeff) Teeple and Connie (Greg) Romy, both of Fort Wayne, Christopher of Dayton, Ohio, Matt (Sandy) of Fort Wayne, Ken (Lynne) of Decatur, Ga., Rob (Liz) of Columbia City and Katie (Jeff) Rampy of Madison, Ind.; 21 grandchildren, Amanda Jo, Katie Lynne, Anthony, Andy, Matt, Travis, Crystal Leigh, Kent, Steven, Eric, Chris II, Rachelle, Amanda Diane, Jacob, Kelsey, Corey, Gabe, Nicholas, Tylor, Jarrod and Cameron; one great-grandchild, Brylee; her sisters, Kathryn (Gerald) Minnich and Clem (Don) Cheviron; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Glasper. She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine; her father, Robert Glasper; two sons, Mark Allen and Joseph Gerard; brothers, John, William and Robert; and sister, Mary. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold Street, with calling one hour prior at the church. Eulogy and Luncheon to follow the Mass. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells Street, with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations in the name of Connie Hosier may be made to Most Precious Blood Catholic Grade School.
