Earl Leroy Penn, 78, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. He retired from ITT where he did diagnostic work and trouble shooting. He was an Air Force veteran. He loved Tia Chi, Yoga, and Golfing and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Ann (Johnson) Penn; sons, George Penn, David Penn, James (Starlet) Penn and Douglas Penn all of Fort Wayne; sister, Ruth Kerr of Steubenville, OH; brother, Lloyd Penn of New Jersey; and grandchildren, Angela Penn, Spencer Penn, U.S.M.C., Jamie Penn, Ian Penn and Dane Penn. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles Penn. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Monday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Ft. Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation is also from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
