EDNA HELTON, 81, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016. As a home-maker she dedicated her life to caring for her family. She is survived by her siblings, Ed (Nancy) Day, Ethellean (Paul) McDaniel, Donald (Mary) Day, Evelyn (Paul) Litmer, and Emmalean (Steve) More; children, Gayle (Paul) Sherman, Rex (Teresa) Helton and Sam (Dawn) Helton; four grandchildren, Kim (Greg) Stahl, Israel Sherman, Amanda (Matt) Dowell, and Ashley Creager; great-grandchildren, Dallas Sherman, Madison Roberts, Kaylie Roberts, Katey Stahl and Chase Dowell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Polly Ann Day; husband, Britt Helton and son-in-law, Paul Sherman. Service is 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at C.M.
