I will never forget Mr. Muldoon. Always there with a hello and to help with any ornery idea we could think up (within reason) and any project we needed help with. To the Ft. Wayne Muldoon Family -- so sorry for your loss.  I just read the obituary in Today's Catholic.  I am Howard's daughter of the South Bend/Mishawaka Muldoon family.  It was a beautiful obituary and all the tributes tell a wonderful story of his life.

Rita and family, What a wonderful man, Abe, was.  Mr. Muldoon was the one who greeted everyone with that casual wave and bib overalls that made everyone feel comfortable.  He greeted and cared for the ever-growing Luers family for multiple generations.  Peace to you and prayers for everyone.

Dear Rita,  I was saddened to learn of Abe's passing and have kept you and your family in my prayers.  Abe was a great man.  He certainly made a huge difference at Luers and always made me feel secure. Luers was very much his second home. I remember how he would walk through snow drifts to get to school.  And he was fun to be with.  I was happy that the province could honor him with membership in the First Order as an affiliate. It was a joy that Fathers Edmund and Donnul could join us for that occasion.  A special hello to Andy!  Is he still singing and dancing? God be with all of you. Dear Mrs. Muldoon and family,

My deepest sympathy on the loss of "Abe".  I remember him fondly during my 12 years at Bishop Luers.  His dedication to his job and his family were always evident to all of us friars.  We are so very grateful for his goodness to us and to all who passed through the halls of Bishop Luers High School.  May he rest in peace.

Rita, so sorry for your loss. If I can't make it to Sacred Heart tomorrow, I will certainly visit with Abe everytime I go to the cemetary to visit Stub and Dad. Thoughts and prayers with you and your family.

we extend our sympathy, to Rita and the family, on the passing of Edward. Edward, was such a friendly person, and we enjoyed many South Side Seniors meals together. For years, Edward prepared the altar, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for mass. He even changed the burnt out light bulbs, in Church. He was always ready to help out any one. Edward, will be missed, very much so. We will keep Edward, Rita, and the Family in our thoughts and  prayers. Rest In Peace, Edward, with our loving God, in heaven enjoying peace, happiness and light.

I remember all the years he gave to Bishop Luers and of course his presence at Sacred Heart parish (when we were all kids there too--yes, I remember well that Ann Marie and I were classmates. I've known Abe since I was a kid at Sacred Heart , then as a student at BL, then as a teacher & coach at BL. He was always a tremendous role model for me as a father, dedicated worker, and Christian man. May he rest in peace. Condolences to his family.
