

Ed was born in Leslie County Kentucky on February 29, 1936.
Ed retired from Brink’s Inc. after 39 years and also served in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, watching University of Kentucky basketball and spending time with loved ones. He was also a member of American Legion Post 241 in Waynedale.
Ed spent the last 25 years with his partner, Nancy Gerardot.
Ed is survived by partner Nancy; Sons, Brian (Jayne), David, Travis (Heather) of Fort Wayne and Jeff of Collinsville, Illinois; Grandchildren, Stephanie (Chad), Angela (Kevin), Adam (Jessica), Taylor (Jennifer), Lauren (Matt), Ashlei (George), Shelby (Brandon), Jessica, Onika, Aleena, Eddy and Orion; Great-Grandchildren, Connor, Gabriel, Gavin, Olivia and Thomas; Siblings, Ethellean McDaniel, Evelyn Litmer, Donald (Mary) Day, Emmalean (Steven) More; and other family and friends.
Ed is preceded in death by Parents, Chester and Polly Ann Day and Sister, Edna Helton.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
