

Edward “Ed” Hosier, 93, of Fort Wayne, Indiana died peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025. He was born on September 4, 1931 in Fort Wayne, to the late Clarence and Luella Hosier. Ed was a longtime member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and was a Korean War veteran. He met the love of his life in 1954 and was married for 53 years to E. Constance (Glasper) Hosier who preceded him in death. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who brought great joy and humor to all those who knew him. He is survived by his children, John (Ada) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Pat (Jeff) Teeple, Connie (Greg) Romy, Matt (Sandy), Ken (Sakina), and Rob Hosier, all of Fort Wayne, and Katie (Jeff) Rampy of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren, Amanda Jo Martin, Katie Knackmuhs, Anthony Hosier, Matt and Travis Teeple, Crystal Redmaster, Kent and Steven Romy, Eric, Chris Jr., Rachelle, Amanda Diane, Jacob Hosier, Kelsey Huddleston, Corey, Gabe, and Nicholas Hosier, and Tylor, Jarrod, and Cameron Rampy. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Mark, Chris, and Joseph; and grandson, Andrew Teeple. Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 am on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold Street, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 pm to 5 pm on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, with a rosary at 4:30 pm.
