Edward E. Wineke, 70, passed away Sunday, December 15th, 2024, in Leo, Indiana. Born in Fort Wayne, he began his career at National Tube Form in 1972 as a general machine operator. He advanced to head engineer and by 1990 was the engineer manager. Edward eventually retired as a partner in 2010.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, photography, music, movies, cooking and was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Candice (Luis) Calderon of Grabill, Indiana; son, Jason Wineke of Los Angeles, California; and sister, Deborah (Mike) Graves of Columbia City, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father, Oakley Wineke; wife, Rebecca (Grace) Wineke; and mother, Frances (Urschel) Wineke.
Celebration of Life is 4:00 pm, Friday, January 10th, 2025 with a reception immediately following at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley Park, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Family and friends will be received from 1:00 pm to 4:00pm, Friday, January 10th, 2025 at the funeral home.
