

Binky was born September 30, 1931 in Avon by the Sea, NJ. He proudly served his country in the United States Marie Corps and was recognized by the USMC with the Korean Service Medal, UN Service Medal, National Service Defense Medal, Navy Occupation Medal & The Purple Heart. He graduated from Monmouth College in 1963 & moved to the Midwest in 1964 as an Engineer with GTE until his retirement. Binky was married to Marjorie Groo in 1955 and was the proud father of six children; Nancy Brown (Rick), Ray Wright, Bob Wright (Jane), Trinda Myers, Chris Wright (Heidi), John Wright (Jennifer). He was also the proud and much loved Grampa to 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by granddaughters, Ashley and Elizabeth, grandson Christopher.
Till the end of his life Binky was always a champion for the "underdogs" and was willing to help out any way possible. Coaching youth football, baseball & hockey, he thrived on giving opportunities to those who otherwise may not have been give a chance. He was the first person to offer a smile, a hand or a hug to anyone who was in need. Binky will be missed by more persons than he will know.
Services will be 11 Friday Dec. 19, 2014 at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home 420 W. Wayne St. with visitation 1 hour prior service. Visitation will also be 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday at the funeral home. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens. www.klaehnfahlmelton.com
