I am so sorry to hear of Eileen’s passing. She was a good friend with my grandmother Irene Kite. I remember both of them bowling together when I was growing up. She always seemed happy and with a smile on her face. She will be missed.

I was in your dad’s first class at Grace Lutheran School, the first year there for both of us in the fall of 1951. I was in 6th grade. He was the new young (24) and very eligible bachelor. It was very exciting when your mom appeared on the scene, not sure how much later, but very romantic and exciting to we young girls. Later when I was older and married we were also at Lake Luther with them. Your mom and dad were very special. How wonderful to have her with you for 94 years. God is so good.

Dan and family,
We were so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. You have some wonderful memories and photos of her, your dad and all of you. You can tell she sure enjoyed her grandchildren. She always had a sweet smile for everyone. Will always remember how your dad and her glided on the dance floor. We sure enjoyed watching them also. Hopefully, they are up their gliding in heaven to a good polka or waltz. Hugs from us in Illinois.

We will always remember Eileen's smile and warm greeting each time she walked into the room. In addition to that, she was always baking delicious treats for our kids when they visited the Hintz home. Love and prayers go out to the Hintz family at this difficult time.
With love from the Koon family--Andy, Jenny, Anna, & Nathan
